OptiNet

Return & refund policy

OptiNet is a software subscription, not a physical product, so there is nothing to return. This page explains when subscription fees are refunded, and what happens to a payment your own customer makes.

Subscription fees

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. If you cancel, the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed; we do not refund the unused part of a month.

If you were charged after cancelling, charged twice for the same period, or charged while the service was unavailable to you for a prolonged period, contact us and we will refund the amount in full.

How to ask for a refund

Write to hello@optinet.bd or call +8801751530303 with your ISP name and the invoice number from the Subscription page. We reply within two working days.

An approved refund is returned by the same method you paid with. Mobile wallet refunds usually arrive within three to seven working days; bank transfers can take longer, depending on your bank.

Payments your customers make

When one of your subscribers pays their internet bill, that money is yours, not ours. We only move it. Any request for a refund of an internet bill is between you and your subscriber, and you settle it from your own dashboard.

If a subscriber is charged twice by a payment gateway, tell us and we will trace the transaction with the gateway. Where the duplicate has not yet settled to you, we can reverse it; where it has, you refund your subscriber and the amount is adjusted in your ledger.

Gateway fees

The percentage fee on a payment taken through our gateways is refunded along with the payment when the whole transaction is reversed. Where only part of a payment is refunded, the fee on the refunded part is returned too.

Fees charged by a mobile wallet or bank on your own merchant account are set by that provider, and we cannot refund them.

Free plan

There is nothing to refund below 100 subscribers. The Starter plan is free and stays free.
